We take our breeding seriously! We have fully health tested parents, and a complete analysis of their genetic diversity is done long before any breeding is considered. Genetic Diversity is done through Veterinary Genetics Laboratory, University of California, Davis. This analysis helps ensure the best genetic diversity possible, which leads to stronger, healthier puppies, with less likelihood of autoimmune disorders. We are confident in our breeding program and offer a LIFETIME warranty against the common Poodle disorders. We will occasionally breed our solid Reds with a Black, to increase diversity in our lines. We also now have a Small Standard line (Imported EU Moyen line) to increase diversity. Temperament and Conformation always come first here at Sunstone Standards. We raise our puppies in our home, with extensive handling of the puppies daily using Early Neurological stimulation, Puppy Protocol, Human and Dog socialization throughout the puppy’s time with us. We safely expose the puppies to as much outside stimulation as is feasible, including positive exposure to: Multiple Groomings, Multiple Car Rides, Thunder and Lightening, Fireworks, Police, Ambulance and Firetruck sirens, Introductions to Strangers, etc. We go the extra mile ensuring a well-adjusted, healthy and happy puppy!
